Help save the World...

Mr Windbags thinks that woods are magical places: they absorb and store carbon dioxide pollution, generate oxygen and provide food and shelter for an amazing variety of wildlife. They are also wonderful places for children to explore, learn and play.

The Woodland Trust’s Tree for All project aims to involve one million children in planting trees all over the country. This will help to produce a thriving landscape teeming with life for their children and grandchildren.

Mr W. is delighted to be invited to so many parties and events, but is aware that travelling to them has an effect on the environment. He seeks to minimise the impact of all his business activities, and since 2005 has tried to offset what remains with tree planting.

Mr Windbags is very pleased to support the Woodland Trust and to help them reach their targets. Each year he calculates his carbon footprint and makes a donation that, as a minimum, will enable enough trees to be planted and looked after to offset his carbon emissions. These trees are planted at the Fox and Parrot Wood at Craghead, near Stanley in County Durham.
